Affordable Log Cabin For Anyone

A cozy cabin doesn’t have to cost thousands of dollars. Take this one, for example. He constructed it in only eight months with no machinery and he worked while there was 3 feet of snow. Wow!

To give you the specifics, here are a few details about this cabin:

  • Built using a total of only 52 logs.
  • The door is a repurposed dining table.
  • The entire cabin alone is 10 feet by 10 feet. With the loft, it will be 10 feet by 16 feet.
  • It has a secondary loft for keeping supplies and storing other stuffs. It has enough space for one person to sleep comfortably on.
  • Brown insulation was used to seal the bigger gaps and spray foam for the smaller ones.

It’s very impressive especially since the video owner built it mostly alone, with just a little help from other people. There are plenty of challenges with this project and one of them is the location. It’s obviously isolated and from the looks of it, can be difficult for a truck to drive through and deliver the logs. I guess what amazed me more was that it is VERY cozy inside. It’s definitely something I’d love to stay in when it gets cold out and it also seems like a great place to invite friends over.

Imagine waking up to the view from the loft while sipping a warm cup of coffee?
