This blew me away! The average person can only hold his breath for 1 minute underwater and this man can do so in five minutes. However, some people claim that those who have trained and mastered this particular skill can reach up to 20 minutes (Case in point: Stig Åvall Severinsen’s record time is 20 minutes and 10 seconds). I can’t even hold mine for more than 60 seconds lol!
Experts believe that practice makes perfect and in this case, the man clearly has been doing this for quite some time already. He looks effortless, calm, focused AND not one bit worried. I would be if I were to swim that deep and not have an oxygen tank on! Holding your breath is difficult and more so when you’re hunting for fish and striding on the sea floor. But for him, it’s no big deal. This is hands-down impressive!
